Soul Loss following Miscarriage

I just came across information on an upcoming one-day workshop called “Soul Loss following Miscarriage.” It will take place in Dublin on the 12th September.

50 babies a day are lost through miscarriage in Ireland, yet it is still a taboo subject. An awkward and uncomfortable topic for people to talk openly about.

Grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage can often be seen as an indulgence, so for many women it can then become a hidden grief, a quiet lonely grief.

Many women talk about feeling that ‘part of them is now missing’. They are left with an inner emptiness and an inner searching with little or no idea exactly what it is they are searching for.

Women often suffer ‘Soul Loss’ as a result of this trauma in their lives.

It sounds interesting, but to be honest I would find the fee of 120 euro for the day a bit prohibitive in the current economic climate. However if anyone else out there is interested in learning more check out this link

50 babies a day! That is heartbreaking! What an awesome workshop. Too bad it’s so over-priced!

Grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage can often be seen as an indulgence, so for many women it can then become a hidden grief, a quiet lonely grief – this accurately sums up the reality of the situaiton. I have taken time off work to grieve the loss of my own baby and I get the impression that my co-workers think I am indulging myself and usuing this as an excuse to avoid work. not one person has contacted me since to see how i am doing. Idread goingback to work and having to act as if nothing has happened and keep all this pain inside.
